Chronic back pain, neck pain, or sciatica can make work, sleep, and everyday movement harder than it should be. If you’ve tried temporary fixes without lasting progress, spinal decompression may be an option worth evaluating.
Spinal decompression is a non-invasive treatment designed to gently reduce pressure on spinal discs and irritated nerves. Treatment may help create space within the spine, improve mobility, and support the body’s natural healing process.
At our Northern Kentucky clinic, decompression is never treated as a one-size-fits-all solution.

How Spinal Decompression Works
Spinal discs act as cushions between the bones of the spine. When discs become irritated, bulge outward, or lose healthy spacing, they may place pressure on nearby nerves and sensitive tissues.
That can lead to back pain, neck pain, numbness, tingling, or radiating symptoms into the arms or legs.
Spinal decompression uses gentle computerized traction cycles to alternately stretch and relax targeted areas of the spine. This controlled movement is designed to reduce compressive forces and decrease stress on surrounding structures.
What to Expect
Your treatment journey typically begins with a consultation and evaluation where we review symptoms, history, imaging if available, and movement limitations.
We then determine whether decompression is appropriate or whether another path would better serve you.
If recommended, care may include decompression, rehabilitation exercises, and supportive therapies.
We monitor progress closely and adjust treatment when needed.
